Champion structure
Uphantis has four internal research groups: Technology & Infrastructure; Netweaver Development; Functional Consultancy; Management Consulting. These research groups are responsible for knowledge building within the designated fields of expertise. Uphantis has several ‘Champions’ who perform a coordinating role within a specific field of knowledge.
A Champion:
Inspires other colleagues in the same field of expertise
Informs himself about market movements within his/her field of expertise
Keeps oneself updated on product changes and new releases
Advises management about developments in his/her field of expertise
Writes white papers in order to position Uphantis as thought leader
I he first to attend available job-related courses
Prepares internal as well as external publications and presentations, together with the research group
Is an active member of the relevant platform study group, such as the VNSG study group
Attends relevant events and trade fairs
Is able to take part in the pre-sales process
Arranges meetings with colleagues in order to exchange experience
Is responsible for the content of his/her field on the internal website and the knowledge management system
In sum, the ‘Champion’-role offers consultants a unique opportunity to develop and specialise themselves within a certain field of expertise.
