Uphantis is very strong on the "quality" of its employees. In this context, quality means to us that our consultants have the best possible recent knowledge and experience. Uphantis budgets a large sum for education and knowledge development. We spend an average of 12,5% of our gross labour costs per employee on job-related and competence (form) focussed training.
Next to education, Uphantis is strong on product development and developing, sharing and securing knowledge. In order to achieve this, a structure of research groups has been introduced. These groups carry the prime responsibility for the above-mentioned goals.
Whenever a new development within the market is observed that is, according to these research groups, relevant for Uphantis’ services a "champion" is appointed. The champion will be put in charge of the actual / thematic execution of that service. Consultants can be asked to participate in such a particular champion structure of one’s own accord. These research groups and / or champion structures will initiate trainings, demo systems, product developments etc.
In the light of the research groups and champion structures, our employees are expected to take part in the following activities:
- Work on knowledge management
- Build and refine demo environments
- Follow courses
- Hold courses
- Follow market developments
- Share knowledge with management
- Share knowledge with colleagues
